Actress Rati Pandey, best known for her roles in shows like “Miley Jab Hum Tum” and “Hitler Didi”, will next be seen playing the new girl in Sooraj Rathi's (Anas Rashid) life in popular soap opera “Diya Aur Bati Hum”.

As the show has taken a three-month leap, where Sandhya (Deepika Singh) has been kidnapped by a terrorist group and Sooraj has become unstable, his mother Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) believes that a new girl in his life will resolve the issue. Bhabho is getting a new girl, Lalima (Rati) in his life, read a statement.

Rati, who has been dating Anas for a while, used to visit many times on the set of the Star Plus show. So the production is considering her as their chemistry is looking good on TV.
