Salman Khan hosted show Bigg Boss season 12 has a winner and this time around it is Dipika Kakar, the 'Sasural Simar Ka' fame actress bagged the trophy along with a cash prize.

The official handle of Colors Channel dropped the news on Twitter. They wrote, “Drumrolls! The winner of #BB12 is @ms_dipika, she not only won the Bigg trophy but our hearts as well. Here's to the star, a huge congratulations for bagging the Bigg title. #BiggBoss12 #BB12GrandFinale”  

Actress Dipika Kakar entered the Bigg Boss 12 house as a celebrity contestant. Her love for the kitchen, amicable personality and her friendship with Sreesanth was the most talked about.

Cricketer Sreesanth and Dipika stuck to each other throughout their stay and were seen as loyal friends. Their bond also became one of the reasons for others, especially Surbhi Rana and the Khan sisters, to criticise the actress. They felt she didn't socialize with them as much.

Dipika never got into nasty fights in the house and stayed away from playing it dirty. The actress rarely lost her cool in the game, and rather managed to calm down Sreesanth whenever he was angry.

After enthralling the viewers for more than 3 months, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim emerged as the winner of the 12th edition of Bigg Boss, a big congratulations to her!
