The like minded close friends of Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa - literary personality and director of high esteem in Kannada cinema have evolved 'Baraguru Foundation' for taking up some worthwhile work in the coming days.

On Sunday evening at Yavanika the Baraguru Foundation was inaugurated by Jnanapeeth Award winner Dr Chandrasekhara Kambara and two prominent personalities - one from journalism and one from literature field were felicitated on this occasion.

Jnanapeeth award winner Dr Baraguru remembering stalwart literary personality Poornachandra Thejaswi agreed that any language should be useful for people. On this occasion Dr Baraguru also felt the need of technical support to Kannada language to flourish.

Senior Journalist of 'Prajavani' and columnist on cinema topic Gangadhar Mudlaiar and literary personality Dr KV Narayan were felicitated at the inauguration of the Dr Baraguru Foundation. Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa in his address stated that he did not want a foundation in his name. My close friends have formed it and I could not say no for it. It has to further work for various desiring causes he felt.
