Gang Of Wasseypur which is supposed to be highly promoted these days cast Reema Sen in a role opposite to Manoj Bajpayee. She plays Manoj’s wife in the movie.Interestingly, Anurag wanted a Bengali actress to be in the role. The first option that hit his mind was Konkana Sen Sharma. She was first original choice. Due to her pregnancy in 2010 and early 2011, she wasn't available for the shooting. The next option that clicked his mind was Nandita Sen. Unfortunately, Nandita did not commit. Finally, he landed up to Reema who finally agreed for the role. The fact is Reema played a small but fantastic role exactly as Anurag expected.
