Bhairon (Anup Soni) and Sumitra (Smita Bhansal), Anandi’s in-laws in Balika Vadhu are quitting the show after six years. They will shoot their last episode in the last week of May.Anup Soni and Smita Bansal have been an integral part of this venture for the last six years and have now decided to call it quits.

Since 2008, Colors show Balika Vadhu, has been a powerful show spreading awareness about child marriage and other women related issues. The show has dominated the television industry in many factors, popularity being the primary one. 

Anup Soni said on Smita and his exit from the show together, 'That’s a surprising coincidence. I keep telling her jokingly that I won’t work with her again as we won’t have anything new to offer to the viewers'.

Actress Smita said, 'As an actor, I am exhausted doing the same thing.This show has given me a lot, but I have nothing more to offer to the character.  At the same time, I understand that the story had to move ahead and that more tracks had to be incorporated. I had nothing to explore in mine'.

The Balika Vadhu stars will reportedly shoot their last episode end of this and will be shown leaving the city in the show and will not be replaced by other actors on this show.
