Noted director of 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi'fame Anil V Kumar has injured himself at his Lonavla house.

When contacted Anil confirmed the news and shared, "I was supposed to start the new show of Balaji Telefilms on Colors (Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki) but unfortunately, the very next day of our outdoor shoot, I met with an accident in my house at Lonavala. I fell down and ended up fracturing my spinal cord. By God's grace my recovery is faster and smoother."

"I am completely on bed rest. But the show must go on and the launch is also too close. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Ma'am have stood by me all this while and I am thankful to them and feel blessed to be associated with the organisation. The journey has already begun, hoping to resume as soon as I can and take it ahead from there," added Anil.
