Two Air India pilots have reportedly been suspended for allowing the actor in the cockpit. Air India has reportedly suspended two of their pilots after having found them guilty of allegedly allowing popular South actress  Nithya Menen into the cockpit, on the Bangalore - Hyderabad flight last month.

In a violation of the DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) guidelines, the pilot in command, A Jagaan Mohan Reddy and co-pilot S Kiran manning the flight, had allegedly allowed Nithya into the cockpit, on her request midflight.

Apparently, the incident was reported to the AIR India authorities by a peeved government official who was also travelling on the flight. However, Nithya Menen's manager claims that the actor hadn't travelled from Bangalore to Hyderabad in over three months. "There is no truth in the allegations. Nithya is shooting for her Malayalam film for the past few months and flew down to Hyderabad from Cochin only to attend an awards function. She landed in the city again on Thursday from Kerala to shoot for her upcoming Telugu film," he says adding, "I checked with Nithya and she just laughed it off.
