Director Krishna, who made the Suriya-Jyothika romantic musical Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, is ready with his next film, Nedunjalai. We hear that the film is set in three different eras — 1960s, 1980s and the present. Says the director, "We scouted extensively for the locations as we wanted them to reflect the corresponding time period. We hunted down places that still retain the charm of the 60s and 80s, with a great deal of difficulty."

Not surprisingly, the shooting of the film was spread out across many states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Rajasthan. The team has shot in beautiful locations in Theni, Agra, Mysore and Delhi. Nedunjalai has Aari (of Maalai Pozhuthin Mayakkathiley fame) and debutante Shivatha in the lead.We hear Aari plays a truck driver who falls in love with a girl from Kerala.The film also boasts a strong supporting cast including Thambi Ramaiah, National Awardwinning Malayalam actor Salim Kumar and Bollywood actor Prashanth Narayanan.
