In today’s age, the television (or the Idiot Box, as it is called), has become an addiction for millions of people and upcoming Marathi film ‘Prime Time’ offers a hilarious as well as dramatic insight into the concept of TV addiction.
Directed by Promod Kashyap and produced by Himanshu Patil, ‘Prime Time’ revolves around a middle-class Maharashtrian housewife, who wants her talented daughter to become a big star just like her childhood friend and how this affects the dynamics of the family.
The trailer is quite quirky and funny but also quite hard-hitting and will definitely strike a chord with middle-class families, whose only source of entertainment is the television.
Produced by Himanshu Kesari Patil and directed by Promod Kashyap under the banner Saranay Entertainment, ‘Prime Time’, which is slated to release on May 29, stars Sulekha Talwalkar, Milind Shintre, Kishore Pradhan, Nisha Parulekar, Jayant Gadekar, Kritika Deo, Anurag Worlikar and others.
