Reena Kapoor who started her career with “Woh rehne Wali Mehlon Ki” will now be seen playing  mother of the chocolate boy, Mudit Nayar in Zee &’s Shashi-Sumeet Productions show, Badi Devrani.

Digvijay will be seen playing the role of her husband who also starred with her in “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.”

Reena will play the role of the strongest woman in the house which will be otherwise dominated by the rule of the central character in the house, essayed by Daya Shankar Pandey.

Talking about it, Reena said, “Well, if you see on TV right now, all the actors who play the roles of mothers are very young. So it is perfectly fine for me to play a mother again. In fact, I will prefer to play a very good-looking and young mother (smiles). It is true that I will play a mother again in the upcoming Zee & show. Though I cannot talk much about my character now, I can only say that viewers will see me in a never-seen-before character.”
