Talented actor Amal Sherawat who is currently seen in Star Plus evergreen show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ as Tara’s elder brother speaks about his journey in films and television.

Amal averred, "I have always been influenced by films and have improved by mimicking the Bollywood stars to groom myself. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai is a brilliant platform as I have been given the opportunity to present myself in a way which is natural. No person is negative or positive in real life. We all have grey shades and my character presents exactly the same thing."
 
"Also, I have got a chance to do some action sequences which was very unique considering a show revolving around kitchen politics. I will never forget the sequence where we shot about Akshara's life being in danger. We shot with harness and cable equipment in a raw and remote location. This sequence between us will change the entire course of the on-going story." He added.
 
 "I aspire to display my versatility and talent, I believe learning is a never ending process and I wish to keep learning and displaying variations to my characters that I essay in future too," signs off the actor
