Actor Keith Sequeira will be seen in a special appearance in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal's ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in Star Plus. He will play Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) mentor, a character inspired by Shah Rukh Khan's from Chak De. 
Several actors including Manoj Bajpayee and Rahul Bose were approached for the part. But finally Keith do this.
“It's a three-episode special appearance. I will push Sandhya, who is undergoing training at police training academy, to perform better." Conformed Keith.
