Fahad Ali, who marked its screen presence with show The Buddy Project on Channel V, where he played the character of KD, which was been loved by the audience.

The young actor has now got lead role in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show on Sony TV.

Fahad will be paired opposite Zalak Desai (in the lead role. For the uninitiated, Zalak was earlier seen in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai.

As reported, the show also has Bobby Parvez playing the female lead’s father and Darshan Zariwala playing the male lead’s father.

Producer Sumeet Mittal was unavailable for confirmation.

Fahad has earlier done shows like Khotey Sikkey, Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please, Chhoti Si Zindagi and Balika Vadhu. However, it was the Channel V show that brought him into the spotlight.
