Everybody Starts Being No One – Terence Lewis

“Everybody starts being no one in industry” says dancer master Terence Lewis on the sidelines of Max Emerging Star Grand Finale.

Anupma Kher, Mark Robinson and Terence Lewis turned special Jury member for the grand finally of Max Emerging Star. The platform specifically designed to promote regional and newcomers in Industry.

Terence Lewis, a renowned dancer and choreographer, specializing in contemporary dance. He is known as a choreographer and judge in reality dance series, “Dance India Dance” talked about ongoing Nepotism tussle in Bollywood, giving it a positive take.

“This is biggest platform for the people who are not from the industry. There is reach going on in Industry that people hailing from (industry) filmy background will definitely get a chance and they should, why not? It is in there genetics”

“But there are many such people, who started in industry without knowing anyone, infact when their forefathers started in industry they were no-body and knew no-one, so somewhere everyone starts without anybody and goes ahead” added Terrence.

He has choreographed Bollywood films like, Lagaan (2001), Jhankaar Beats (2003) and Naach (2004), apart from musicals, stage shows, ads, music videos and national and international dance competitions. He was part of judging panel for Nach Baliye 5, along with actress Shilpa Shetty and film director Sajid Khan.

Terence Lewis also got Staar Parivaar Award for Favourite Judge. He also choreographed Disney India's first theatre production Beauty and the Beast.
