The Superstar as he is popularly known, who worked as a bus conductor in Bangalore, completed 38 years in cinema on August 18.

From his debut film to the as-yet-unreleased Kochadaiyaan, Rajinikanth has played many roles -- from a comedian and a hero to a villain -- but his style and simplicity remain unchanged.
