The multi talented singer and actor Amit Tondon who has portrayed strong characters in many of the popular shows will now be seen in an episodic of Zing’s show ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’.

Amit will be seen essaying the role of a professor of a medical college who is very strict in his personal and professional life but there will be a twist in the tale when the most hot girl of the college falls for him and there begins the journey of love, faith and commitment.

When contacted Amit confirmed the news and shared, “I am usually not open to doing episodic shows but I was looking forward to work with Vikas Gupta from a long time, Since I share a good rapport with him right from the time we worked in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, where he was the creative director. I believe he is very creative and attempts to do different things on television”.

Speaking about the kind of roles he would like to portray, Amit averred, "For now, I am completely concentrating on my music. One single is scheduled to release and I am working on the second one too. But to answer your question, I have always loved projecting grey shaded characters, as they are not only challenging but there are various characteristics to the character, I can experiment with. A good man, who was forced to turn bad due to situations in his life, is something I would love to portray !"
