Talented actor Amit Verma who was last seen in the shoe ‘Badi Door Se Aaye Hai’ has suddenly disappeared from the industry.

We caught up with the good looking actor to know the reason.

Amit averred, "I have been getting offers from a long time now. Post my stint in 'Badi Door Se Aaye Hai', I was offered a show on Star Plus but I had to reject it because my brother, Adhir suffered a heart stroke two months ago and this has led to a brain hemorrhage. His left body is dysfunctional and might take 6 months to recover. I have been taking care of him all this while. This is the worst phase of my life."

So when would he return to the small screen?

He stated, "I have resumed work recently and I am doing theater as of now. I am keen on taking up television too. I have essayed romantic chocolate boy roles for a long time now and I now wish to do more intense serious roles if given an opportunity."
