Talented actor Varun Hemraj Khandelwal who was last seen on the show, ‘Tu Mera Hero’ on Star Plus had put on a lot of weight quite sometime.

And now we are surprised to see the actor losing 15 kgs and getting back in to shape.

Speaking about his regime, an wlated Varun shared, "Yes, I went through a massive weight loss. I realised you need to be fit and within the small break I got, I had put on a little weight. No sooner did I started working towards it to get my original body back

"It was tough for me as I am a born Punjabi and a big foodie, where to give away the habit of having my favourite food took a lot of will. However, I was determined to do it and hence went on with it. Also, I want to shock my old producers by my new look and wanted to shoot for a new portfolio and a lean body would have been apt for it.

He adds, "A major chunk of the credit goes to my mother, as she took care of the right diet that I needed for the process and having the right food constitutes 70% of the process."
