Since the beginning, ‘&pictures’ has been the audience the taste of blockbuster movies, this time channel is trying to keep their mark, before in release of the film back in 2013, the channel has already brought the satellite rights for 10 crore for the film. The channel is all set to air the remake of the 1973 blockbuster movie – Zanjeer which starred superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

The new remake stars the south Indian superstar, Ram Charan, along with Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Prakash Raj.
The movie revolves around the self-righteous and brutally honest police officer – Vijay Khanna’s struggle against the system, his battle against his inner demons and chase against an oil mafia giant called Teja. Ram Charan who takes legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the remake as ACP Vijay Khanna was appreciated for bringing in an entirely different approach to his character.

Not only did Ram Charan win a billion hearts of Bollywood fans with his earnest acting skills but the direction as well as the presence of other stellar actors which has also won immense applauses for their work. With all the accolades that the Zanjeer of 2013 won from across the country, &pictures is all set to air the mega-hit cult movie remake on Indian television.

The film will be aired on 13th July on 2pm.
