Pretty and talented actress Kanchi Singh aka Avani of Zee TV’s show ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ celebrated children’s day in a special way.

"There is an NGO called 'Prayaas' where they educate the students who belong to the slums and also provide them food and other basic facilities like books, medical facilities, etc. I was called to the NGO by one of my friends. There were around 300-350 kids whom I met today. In the last 20 years of my life, I celebrated Children's Day for the very first time and it was a very nice experience for me. I never celebrated Children's Day as a kid and I felt really good to celebrate it today in this way and it was really worth doing it. I even thanked my friend for calling me there. I wanted to do every bit of it, whatever was happening there. My mindset has changed seeing everyone so well behaved and well managed there."

Speaking about her encounter with the kids Kanchi shared, "They all knew me as Avani and I was really shocked to learn that there was a small kid who knew the exact details like total number of episodes aired of 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya'! They were so young and they knew about our show as they used to watch it regularly. It's been the best Children's Day for me."

That’s really a very sweet gesture!
