According to the media sources, Vikram will be seen challenging B-town's "Dabangg" star Salman Khan to speak Tamil.

"I" is a romantic thriller, which has been made in Tamil and dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu and many other foreign languages. V Ravichandran (Aascar V. Ravichandran) has produced the film with a whopping budget of ₹100 crore and Vikram and director Shankar are leaving no stone unturned to make it a big success.

In the film, Vikram will be seen in dual roles. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in "I"directed by Shankar. "Bigg Boss 8" contestant Upen Patel in an important role. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Suresh Gopi, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan.

The technical team includes AR Rahman for music, PC Sreeram for cinematography and Anthony for editing.

The movie is scheduled for release during Pongal 2015.
