Superstar Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal Starer Mersal is out with its first teaser and it goes viral on social media.

Mersal’s teaser broke records on the internet; within hours of release, the teaser has garnered massive 9 million hits. Kajal Aggarwal shared the teaser on social media, she captioned it, and “Here you go... #MersalTeaser”

Mersal stars Vijay, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. The film is directed by directed by Atlee and music by A.R. Rahman.

Mersal has already created a buzz amongst fans thanks to its posters and teaser release, and probably one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year.

AR Rahman’s background score gives the teaser boost. The film is touted to be an action drama with high-octane stunts being performed by Vijay.

Fans have been going gaga over Vijay’s avatar as MGR fan. MGR posters can be seen throughout the teaser. Vijay can be seen fighting with someone at a theatre which is playing MGR’s ‘Ulaikum Karangal’. An international opera sequence is also shown in the teaser.

This will be the second association for Vijay with noted director Atlee. Vijay will be playing three roles in the film. The teaser showcases two of his looks. The movie is slated to release this Diwali.
