The multifaceted personality like actor, politician, journalist and noted lawyer, Cho Ramaswamy has been hospitalized.

The 80-year-old Cho was Wednesday admitted to a private hospital here after he complained of breathing problems.

A celebrated comedian, Ramaswamy started his career as a theatre artiste. One of his popular plays is "Mohammed Bin Tuglak", which he later directed for the silver screen. Some of his other popular films include "Kazhugu", "Galatta Kalyanam" and "Gowravam".

According to the sources, he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit and the doctors attending on him haven’t yet released the bulletin on Cho’s health condition.
