B-Town actress Sonakshi Sinha is making her Tamil debut with Rajinikanth's "Lingaa", She expressed her happiness being introduced as the Thalaivar's heroine on Lingaa's Audio launch.

Dabangg actress told mediapersons “I’m a newcomer here. Not many people know me. But I’m happy being introduced as Rajinikanth’s heroine.”

While speaking at the film’s audio launch, she even sang a few lines of “Lungi dance”, which was widely appreciated by Rajnikanth’s fans.

Lingaa is directed by KS Ravi Kumar and AR Rahman has given the music for the movie, This flick is divided in two periods. Sonakshi plays a village belle, is Rajinikanth’s love interest in the 1940s, while Anushka Shetty plays the superstar’s pair in the modern era.
