Released on 21st November, Sibiraj's  'Naaigal Jaakirathai' surpassed everyone's expectations, The film has received good reviews from the critics. Positive reviews and good word of mouth have ensured the increase in the screen count.

According to Sibiraj, the maker and actor in the flick, many multiplexes have agreed to increase the number of screens in addition to moving the flick to bigger screens to attract larger audiences.

The film's story deals with the relationship between a police officer and his military-trained dog.
