Actress Renuka Shahane who has been missing in action from Bollywood as well as Marathi films for a very long time will be seen acting along side Dinesh Vaidya and Priyanka Prashant Kamat Marathi film ' Bhakarkhadi- 7 Kms' , which is a story of a young devoted doctor and directed by Umesh Namjoshi.
The film has already received critical acclaim at various national and international film festivals and is now set tor release all over Maharashtra on 9th May 2014.
When asked r if this is her comeback film, she laughed and said, "I am not making a comeback or anything with this film. My kids need me for now and I am happy spending time with them. There are many actresses but my kids have only one mother. Also after getting married I was not very keen on pursuing acting."
Many well known face from Marathi film industry are performing in this film, namely Aniket Vishwasrao, Veena Jamkar, Anant Jog, Uday Tikekar, Dr.Girish Oak, Late Anand Abhyankar, Bharat Ganeshpure, Ashok Samel, Suyash Tilka and others.
Music by kamalesh Bhadkamkar, Lyrics by Dr.Dinesh Vaidya, Editing by Jayant Jathar and cinematography by Prashad Bhende are other credits.
