The actor-singer Dhanush is all set to add another feather to his cap, he will be soon starting his first directorial project titled Power Pandi.

The Raanjhanaa actor shared the first look of the film on his Twitter. He uploaded the picture with caption, "#powerpaandi #wunderbarfilms #rajkiran #prasanna  #DD1  a Sean roldan musical"

Legendary Tamil actor Rajkiran will be playing the titular role in the film, as seen the first look! The film has gone on floors today in the city of Chennai.

Veteran actor Rajkiran will play the lead, while Dhanush has roped in Nadiya Moidu, Prasanna and Chaya Singh in supporting roles. While Dhanush has written the film’s script, and is producing it under his Wunderbar banner, the music has been composed by Sean Rolden.

Dhanush is the sixth member of his family to direct films: his father Kasthuri Raja, his brother Selvaraghavan, his sisters-in-law Geetanjali Selvaraghavan and Soundarya Rajinikanth and his wife Aishwarya Dhanush have all turned into filmmakers. Wishing Dhanush the very best!

It will be a fun and adventurous film. There is no confirmation yet about the Kolaveri singer's appearance in the film.
