The official teaser for Nani's upcoming film Jersey is out and has garnered plenty of attention because of its cricket-related backdrop.

Sithara Entertainments official handle dropped the Teaser on social media. They captioned it, “‏Here's the Official #JERSEYTeaser @NameisNani @gowtam19 @ShraddhaSrinath @anirudhofficial @vamsi84”

Right off the bat, the teaser went viral within hours of its release. The teaser has garnered a massive 2.3 Million hits. The teaser reveals the basic character sketch of Nani plays the role of Arjun, a 36-year-old cricketer, who despite several hurdles and disappointments, shines in the league.

The film is being helmed by director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The movie stars Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The shooting of this film began last September and it is slated to hit the screens this April.

Jersey is said to set in 1986 and covers till 1996, and the events that takes place during this decade forms the crux of Jersey and Nani will be seen appearing in three different get-ups.

The film will be produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
