Finally Jiiva starring Gorilla gets a release date. The film is now slated for January 2019 release.

The official handle of Sony Music South dropped the new poster along with the release date on social media. They captioned it, “This amazing #Gorilla is all set to meet you in January 2019! Gear up for the interesting ride #GorillaFromJanuary @Actorjiiva @shalinipandeyyy @All_In_Pictures @SamCSmusic”

Gorilla is an upcoming heist comedy thriller film written and directed by Don Sandy. The film stars Jiiva, Shalini Pandey, Kong in the lead roles while Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Sathish, Rajendran and Ramdoss play supportive and pivotal roles in the film.

The film is also set to be the first Indian film as well as the first Tamil film in Tamil cinema history to cast or portray a real chimpanzee in the main prominent role.

The first single of the film Yaaradiyo is already out, which is composed and written by Sam C.S and beautifully crooned by Sid Sriram, the song about love and longing!

The music is composed by Sam C. S. with lyrics penned by Yugabharathi while cinematography is handled by R. B. Gurudev and editing is done by Anthony L. Ruben.
