Music director-TV anchor James Vasanthan's directorial debut venture "Vaanavil Vaazhkai" will see the day light on February 20.

The movie is based on music and rivalry among college students during an inter college competition. Many new faces are seen in the cast and famous carnatic singer Soumya is also making her acting debut in ths flick.

There are 19 songs in the film which used to be a trend in earlier days. James has also composed music for this film and he says he always wanted to do a musical movie like this one.
