Leading film entertainment company Eros International Media Limited on Wednesday announced its foray into Tamil music with the release of director AR Murugadoss' film ‘Kaththi’, starring popular actor Vijay

According to a company release Eros Music will release the sound track of this upcoming action thriller, one of the most anticipated Tamil films of 2014, on 18th September.
 
Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya A Rajinikanth is a director-creative & head of Eros Digital for South India. She  said the company was 'very excited' to associate with the 'Kaththi' team to release its music.
 
"With this move, we are looking forward to leveraging our strength in exclusively exploiting Tamil music content across all formats," she was quoted as saying.
 
Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film and the successful duo of Murugadoss-Vijay combination had joined hands after their super hit action film 'Thuppakki', remade in Hindi by the director as 'Holiday' starring Akshay Kumar.
