
Director Gunasekhar’s historic epic "Rudhramadevi", which is the first Indian 3D historic film, started two years back at Thousand Pillars Temple in Warangal, has completed shooting and the post production work is going on at a brisk pace.
The team has announced that the flick will be released in the last week of March. According to the sources, is made on a budget of
85 crore, which marks a highest budget ever spent on a heroine oriented film in India.
The film has an ensemble cast like Anushka Shetty, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Allu Arjun, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal, Catherine Tresa and many more.
Anushka will be seen as Rudrama Devi, the 13th century revered Telugu queen of the Kakatiya dynasty, Rana will be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadra and Tollywood style king Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy in the movie. The making videos have got a good response.
Music composed by Legendary music director Ilayaraja and Neeta Lulla is the costume designer. Thota Tharani is the art director.
