Akkineni Akhil made a debut with his first ever commercial Ad, for Titan watches where he features alongside B-Town actress Kalki Koechlin. All those who have seen his Ad have only good things to say about Akhil. This speaks volumes of the actor’s talent, and the way he has been trained.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has expressed his happiness over Akhil's first ever commercial video. After watching the Titan commercial, Nagarjuna said "Akhils first ever ad/proud of you my son".

As soon as the Ad went viral, there were a string of congratulatory messages all over the social media. Stars like Manchu Lakshmi and Nithiin have congratulated Akhil over Twitter and expectations have touched sky high about Akhil’s debut movie now.

It is probably the first time that a south actor has been roped in by such a huge brand, even before the release of his first film. The ad has a perfect script, showing the modern youth spending time with Gadgets instead of loved ones. So Kalki gifts Akhil a watch and asks him to spend time with him. Akhil looks dashing, and gives a subtle performance in the Ad.


Sources close to Annapurna Studios revealed that Nagarjuna is listening to script for Akhil’s debut movie and a formal announcement will be made about the film once everything is finalized. Nagarjuna’s last film ‘Manam’ was a super hit at the box-office and this ‘Manmadhudu’ appeared in the film along with Late ANR and Naga Chaitanya.
