The adorable girl in the Bollywood children’s movie, Makdee, that’s how we all remember Shweta Basu Prasad. Now, in a shocking revelation, the Tollywood actress has been arrested in a high profile prostitution racket in Hyderabad. It has been reported that police arrested Shweta from a reputed hotel at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

At a young age, Shweta has worked in national award winning movies like Makdee and Iqbal. She has also done Ekta kapoor's tv show Kahani Ghar  ghar kii  and later started working in the Telugu film industry.

The police arrested some well known business men along with the actress who later admitted that she was short of money and had no other way of supporting her family. The actress has also been caught in a comprising situation.

Shweta said in her statement that she was going through financial problems and was provoked to take up prostitution to earn money and there are several other actresses who have gone through this phase.
