'Dummy Tappasu’ is an upcoming comedy film directed by newcomer O.S. Ravi and set in the slums of central Chennai. The plot revolves around the lives of various residents of this slum.

Mollywood's comedian Praveen Prem makes his Tamil debut as a hero, The female lead is portrayed by debutant Ramya Pandian, Versatile actor John Vijay plays an important role in this comedy caper which will feature stunt masters in light hearted roles. Veteran Thenisai Thendral Deva returns to the music arena with this movie and the plot could very well warrant some of his best gaana songs. Cool Jayanth and Sandy handle the choreography while Kannan K. and Ram K are the cinematographer and editor respectively.
