South actor Shiva started his career as a radio jockey; he was introduced to Kollywood as an actor through Venkat Prabhu’s “Chennai-600028”.

His last release was “Vanakkam Chennai” under Krithika Udhayanidhi's direction.  Actress Priya Anand had paired up with him in this flick. After that he worked as a dialogue writer in 'Aadama Jeyichomada'.

Now according to the latest reports,  C.V.Kumar of “Thirukumaran Entertainment” is producing a new movie titled '144'.  Debutant Manikandan is doing the direction. And Shiva has been roped in for this new movie and he will play the role of a thief.
