Director Mysskin's 2014 Tamil paranormal thriller hit flick "Pisasu" is making news in Tollywood. The filmmakers are opined to dub the film in Telugu as Pisachi, which is expected to release soon. Popular producer C Kalyan has bought the dubbing rights for the Telugu version.

In a recent interview, Kalyan said, "The film turned out to be a hit in Tamil. It's not just a commercial hit, but it was critically acclaimed as well. The fact that it's not a conventional story has appealed to audiences and I think it will work in the film's favour in Telugu too".

Pisachi might release in the last week of January or in February first week. The horror movie stars newcomers Naga and Prayaga Martin.
