Actress-turned-director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan debuted as a director with “Aarohanam”, followed by “Nerungi VaaMuthamidathey”. Both films were well received critically, but box office returns were ordinary.

According to the latest update, Lakshmy has finished scripting her third venture, titled “Ammini”.

Speaking to the media source, she stated that the script was inspired by a real person who came on her show “Solvathellam Unmai”. She also added that Ammini would neither be preachy nor a typical women-centric movie.

The cast and crew of Ammini have not been finalised yet.
