Emraan Hashmi unveils the first official trailer of Marathi film, The Silence on social media and confirms the release date in India.

The Actor Emraan took to his Twitter account and released the trailer. He wrote, “#TheSilence a special Marathi film with some awesome performances. Best wishes @khannasunny.  It releases 6thOct”

The Silence is a Marathi film directed by Gajendra Ahirey, featuring Raghubir Yadav, Anjali Patil and Kadambari Kadam in lead roles. The movie also features Sairat director Nagraj Manjule in pivotal role. The movie is slated for 6th October 2017 release in India.

The film is based on a true story and revolves around a little girl Chinni, who stays with her father in Konkan. Life is going great until one fateful day when her loved one turns into the one she despises for the rest of her life.

The music is composed by popular Band, Indian Ocean. The Silence has won honors at several national and international film festivals like the Best Child Actor award (for Vedashree) at the 16th New York Indian Film Festival, The German Star Of India (for Gajendra) at Indian Film Festival of Stuttgart 2015.

As for Emraan Hashmi, the actor is currently enjoying the success of Baadshaho, which also starred Ajay Devgn, Illeana Dcruz, and Esha Gupta.

Emraan is also prepping and shooting for his forthcoming movies, like Captain Nawab and Murder 4.
