Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi, who will be sharing screen with southern beauty Nayanthara for the first time in Dhanush’s "Naanum Rowdythan." This will be the first time for Vijay to have a top heroine in his film because most of the Vijay's films earlier had several new faces or just introduced heroines.

According to latest reports, the first schedule of the film started recently in Pondicherry, It was also said that a fight sequence will also be shoot there.
 
The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan of "Poda Podi" fame and is produced by actor Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar Films. This flick is reported to be a dark comedy.
 
According to the buzz, the first look poster will be unveiled in next few days.
