The TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 52, (December 24-30) of 2013, Star Plus, Colors, Zee TV, Sab TV, Life OK, and Sony Entertainment TV saw growth in viewership, while Sab TV climbed up to the fourth position.
Star Plus ended 2013 in the numero uno position with 606 million TVTs, as against 599 million TVTs in Week 51.
Colors, too, retained its second position, garnering the steepest growth in viewership among the GECs at 527 million TVTs in Week 52, as compared to 488 million TVTs in the previous week.
Zee TV too recorded growth in its viewership at 431 million TVTs in Week 52, up from 409 million TVTs in Week 51.
Sab TV registered gross TVTs of 330 million, as compared to 309 million TVTs in Week 51. The channel climbed up to the fourth position from the fifth position in the previous week.
On the contrary, Life OK saw a marginal dip in its viewership in Week 52 at 324 million TVTs from 326 million TVTs in Week 51.
It was growth for Sony Entertainment TV, which recorded gross TVTs of 272 million as against 255 million TVTs in the previous week.
