
Bollywood actress Gul Panag who was last seen in the web series 'The Family Man' on Prime Video, says that as a nation, according to the current situation and in the overall development stage of the country, symbolically the directors need to put on more female stories.
Gul Panag was seen interacting with the media at the OTT Awards Show High Five On ZEE5 on Wednesday in Mumbai.
Gul Pang emphasizing more on the female heroes stories said, “I feel that symbolically whatever we are going through as a nation and in the overall development stage of our country, directors need to put on more female stories. Because I believe there are enough female heroes, on which stories can be made. The kind of heroes we create, we intern impact kind of society we have. As a filmmaker, this is a huge responsibility on their shoulders to create a kind of heroes we have in our society.”
"High Five on ZEE5" is an award initiative by the OTT brand to recognize top content based on actual consumption data matrix. It will honor the most consumed content across various categories, based on user choices. The data is based on consumers viewership, engagement rate and completion rate.
The categories are Hindi TV show, Hindi Original Series, Regional Original Series, Movie and Music Video. It's the first time an OTT Platform in India is conducting an award basis user preference. This is conducted month on month basis.
