TV Today Network Management has promoted Channel Head of AajTak, Supriya Prasad, to Managing Editor. Till now he was working on the post of Executive Producer. Earlier Kamar Wahi Naqvi was handling this responsibility. Apart from this, being a news director Naqvi was holding responsibilities of four channels. But Supriya Prasad had been entrusted with the responsibility of Channel Head of AajTak. Supriya Prasad recently resigned from the post of News Director of News24.

Supriya Prasad entered the world of journalism in 1994 when he joined IIMC to learn the nuances of journalism. However along with studies he was simultaneously reporting for Prabhat Khabar. After finishing the course he joined AajTak on June 10, 1995 and remained here for 15 years. After AjTak he became part of launching team of News24 and played a vital role as news director in launching the channel. He later resigned from AajTak and came back to AajTak.
