Peoples Group’s Peoples Samachar is aspiring towards its expansion. The newspaper will soon be launched from Raipur. Though the newspaper has been started from Raipur but it is not yet officially launched. Also attempts are being made to lodge the newspapers’ presence in UP. Preparations are on for it. The Raipur edition has been launched with 30 thousands initial copies. This 16 page newspaper is priced at Rs 2.

Corporate Coordinator Abhishek Sharma who is looking after the planning and development of Peoples Samachar said, “After launching the newspaper in Raipur, our next destination will be UP. We will step in UP with Jhansi edition and then the Lucknow edition. Both the editions will be launched this year itself.”

Speaking over Delhi edition he said, “Though it has not been too long that we have launched our Delhi edition but we are receiving a good response from readers. Delhi edition was launched as a national edition and we are trying hard to establish it. In Delhi edition we have tried to cover every Hindi speaking state and every state has been allotted a page in the edition accordingly.”

Senior journalist Ramendra Sinha has joined the newspaper as Group Editor. Several changes have been made to the newspaper since Ramendra has joined. Several features have been added and improvements have been made in the editorial.
