HP launches the watch connected with a first singular product. The MB Chronowing is a smartwatch that is unlike any other product in the same category, and for good reason: it's not quite a smartwatch.
The Chronowing is the first fruit of the collaboration between HP and designer Michael Bastian (the "MB" in the product name). Near the idea of chronometer watches, the machine displays a diagonal of 44 mm, which quite large for a watch, and its outline reminds production Tag Heuer.
This shows connected has no touchscreen, and merely an LCD panel in black and white displays notifications and information, complete with a classic clock (to read the time, in fact). No measure of sleep quality or microphone for voice commands: it is far from Android Wear or Apple Watch.
The advantage is that the lack of features "smart" watch offers a broad autonomy for 7 days, and it can pair with an iOS or Android device.
The MB Chronowing smartwatch will be available exclusively via Gilt from November 7, at $349 (approximately Rs. 21,400) for a silver-plated model. A limited-edition variant of the MB Chronowing in black with sapphire glass and an alligator strap will be available at. $649 (approximately Rs. 39,900). Only 300 units of the limited-edition variant will be available.
