The Punjabi Ratna Awards witnessed remarkable jewels who have achieved heights with hard work, dedication and their positive deeds.

Famous directors Savan Kumar, Harry Baweja, Madhur Bhandarkar, well renounced actor in negative role Prem Chopra, fresh actor Jimmy Shergill, well known actor Raj Babbar, Anup Soni and surprisingly Cricketer Madanlal, Vishan Singh Bedi, CBI director Jogindar Singh and renounced writer Mahip Singh graced the occasion with their presence.

Well renounced villain of the industry Pran and reporter Khuswant Singh was honored with life time Achievement awards. Respecting their work and humanity the special award was decided. Irrespective of their age factor and certain health issues the awards was given to them in their house. Special AV was shown when the award was announced. The plus group MD Sukhdev Singh, Director M L Sajpal, plus broadcasting corporation director Kesar Singh and many others were presented in the occasion. The eve was fantastic. The stars were on the ground. The smiles on their faces glossed the event bright. The only thing which went out missing was presence of Dara Singh. He is one of the core hearts of Punjab. His absence was a drop out yet the event was one eve to be cherished lifetime.
