Maker of the film Pantelion Films has released the trailer for "Spare Parts." This film is based on the true story of a group of high school students who compete in an underwater robotics competition, first reported in a Wired Magazine story by Joshua Davis.

Spare Parts, directed by Sean McNamara, Starring George Lopez, Jamie Lee Curtis, Carlos PenaVega, Esai Morales, Jose Julian, David Del Rio, Oscar Gutierrez, Alexa PenaVega, Alessandra Rosaldo and Marisa Tomei.

"Spare Parts" hits theaters on January 16, 2015.
