As much as all SelGo fans loved her 2017 American Music Awards comeback performance, unfortunately, according to some, it, might have fallen flat. 

Despite how impressive it was for the pop star to return to the stage only months after receiving a kidney transplant, viewers at home called out Gomez for allegedly lip-syncing through the entirety of "Wolves."

E! News reached out Selena's rep for possible comment on the performance, and she's yet to address her haters publicly. The 25-year-old was joined by DJ Marshmello and a group of dancers for the performance. She debuted a new blonde do for the performance which was supposed to be set after a car crash in a red Ford Mustang. 

Selena emerged with 'cuts' on her knees and forehead as she rocked a white mini nightgown.

She completed the look with matching white Puma shoes and socks which ended at just above the ankle as she was surrounded by dancers who mimicked wolves.

While some defended the artist, applauding her show of such strength in the face of adversity, others felt otherwise. 

Back on September 14, Selena revealed the kidney transplant as she shared a photo of herself and BFF Francia Raisa in hospital gowns holding hands.

The stunner has also since rekindled her relationship with on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber who she has been seen gallivanting with in recent weeks. He did not appear at the gala event.
