At the BeautyconLA actress Priyanka Chopra was called out by a  Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat  for encouraging war despite being Goodwill brand ambassador of the UN. The matter escalated quickly enough that UN has to address it themselves. However Hayat was soon seen posting pictures with Singer Nick Jonas.

The picture was clicked days after the incident in LA. Hayat ran into Nick JOat a match between Rafael Nadal and Matteo Berrettini at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. She shared the picture on twitter and wrote, "Guess who I ran into at the US Open Men's Semi Finals in New York! One thing we both agreed on was that we were both rooting for @rafaelnadal !✌@nickjonas @usopen @emirates"

Hayat was upset with Priyanka for Tweeting in Indian Army's favor after the Balakot strike.  Human Rights Minister of Pakistan, Shireen Mazari, later wrote a letter to UN asking to revoke Chopra's status as a Goodwill Ambassador.

Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for United Nations Secretary-General denied their request and issued a statement saying, "UN ambassadors speak in their personal capacity, they retain the right to speak about issues that interest or concern them."
