The time is closer for all Indian fans to rejoice as ‘Teenage MutantNinja Turtles’ (TMNT) are coming to your city. The pizza loving ninja turtles are ready to create havoc with their amusing one liners and daring attitude. To keep them in control is their ever disciplined Ninjutsu expert and teacher ‘Master Splinter’ and here’s a chance to know him before meeting his pupils.

An adoptive father ‘Master Splinter’ is the glue that holds the band of brothers together. He loves them, nurtures them like his sons, and is always looking out for them. He has taught Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello all his marvelous moves and has made them the heroes they are today.

Many origins of ‘Master Splinter’ have emerged through TMNT’s colorful history. Some versions portray him as the great Ninja from Japan who modifies into a rat when doused with chemicals.
Others know him as the mutated pet of the Ninja warrior. In the film, Splinter is originally a rat who transformed to a mutated being due to experiments carried out on him. However, in all these adaptations the look of Splinter has not changed. The character is a talking rat, with a lean body and super reflexes that always sports a Kimono.

Master Splinter is the only one who matches villainous Shedder in strength and agility. He possesses the gift of sensitivity and is an able judge of character. Throughout the 30 years of the TMNT franchise, the relationship of ninja turtles and their master has been characterized by a parent child relationship with respect and humor. Well known actor Tony Shalhoub of Monk fame, voices this strict yet loving character in the film.

Indian social media is creating a buzz with the release of TMNT around the corner. Fans are eager to watch this film in 3D on the big screen.

Produced by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, Michael Bay,Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker, Scott Mednick, Ian Bryce, TMNT
